The Sasha Elliot Sextet

A native Washingtonian, Sasha Elliot began his musical career as a percussionist in his high school band.  He graduated to the Peabody Conservatory and the University of Maryland, where he continued his studies in the classical repertoire with Fred Begun and Tony Ames, and later in jazz with Gregory Hutchinson and Al Foster.

Sasha has played in several local groups across many musical genres, including stints with many popular Go-Go bands.  Sasha spent ten years working for Columbia and Epic Records.  He is currently the Instrumental Music Director at Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C.
