Tracey Cutler, Saxophonist

 

Tracey Cutler is a highly respected and requested saxophonist and educator who brings the era of classic jazz, by way of his sweet, soulful, and identifiable sound, to the 21st Century music scene. Tracey studied at The University of the District of Columbia under the legendary Calvin Jones, where he received degrees in Jazz Studies and Music Education. He also holds a Master’s in School Supervision & Administration from Bowie State University and currently serves as the Creative & Performing Program Coordinator at the Hyatttsville Middle School for the Arts & Academics in Prince Georges’ County, MD. Teaching young performing artists by modeling in and out of the classroom, Tracey has shared the stage with an array of artists including Stanley Turrentine, Jackie McLean, Bruce Williams, Benito Gonzalez, Yolanda Adams, Lalah Hathaway, and Jeanne Carne, to name a few. Come out and enjoy music from his CD “The Path”, music that reflects a vast array of his personal and musical experiences.
