The New Hope-Solebury High School Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of David Bachart.The Jazz Band consists of students from 8th grade through 12th grade.This premier ensemble meets 5 hours a week for rehearsals. Rehearsals take place in the morning before school and Thursdays from 6-9 PM At New Hope-Solebury we strive to:

•Offer performance venues for students

•Nurture the next generation of Jazz musicians and enthusiasts by active educational and live performance programs.

Our goal is to provide music, ideas and motivation, to help jazz enthusiasts, students and musicians develop their skills, understanding, ability to communicate and make music, and to encourage musical participation, interest in, and support of jazz.
