Armand Ntep, "le bantu Africain," is a vital and original world music singer/composer. Ntep is both a unique vocalist and a prolific, innovative composer. His vocal talent is broad in terms of octave and style from silky baritone croon to pygmy-inspired syncopation to tender tenor ballads.Jazzy jams and African beats come together in the music of musician Armand Ntep — along with salsa, hip hop and traditional lihongo from his native Cameroon. It’s a rich, unique and exotic blend, from an eclectic performer known for the variety of his repertoire. A ballad, a beat, a baritone – Armand Ntep is one performer who can do it all. Ntep spent years in Paris developing his unique world fusion sound before moving to Washington DC and recording with Sustained Note Records.
