ANTHONY PIROG TRIO - More Info

Jazz/experimental guitarist Anthony Pirog’s projects range far and
wide. He’s spent time performing straight-ahead jazz originals with
the Bobby Muncy Quintet, ambient sound experiments as a member of the
duo Janel and Anthony, and indie hard rock with Skysaw (a band led by
former Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin). He recently made
waves at Silver Spring’s Veteran’s Plaza by leading 22 musicians in a
55-minute performance of Terry Riley’s famous “In C,” the composition
credited with launching minimalism. Pirog will be performing with
bassist Mark Foster and drummer Larry Ferguson.
